A family journal

It's about time I started a journal about my genealogical escapades.

I've dabbled with my family tree and the stories that go along with it for as long as I can remember. My most recent success is meeting new cousin Mark- we share the same great grandparents, John Gabriel Johnson and Johanna Christina Peterson. I have old (and not very good) photocopies of family trees and family group data sheets from the early 1980s. Mark says he has some photos to share. I haven't had the chance to ask, but I think he might have the original photos from the photocopies. I believe the woman who created them is his aunt.

I'm primarily interested in direct lineage although I do record the names of siblings, their spouses and their spouse's families if time allows. It is just so easy to get distracted...
